or later may be tax-deductible

public charity is received, the
Foundation cannot confirm
the potential deductibility of

The Histiocytosis Association of America is dedicated to
raising awareness about histiocytic disorders, providing
educational and emotional support, and funding research
leading to better treatments and a cure.

The Histio Cure Foundation
Since 2006, Drs. Allen and McClain have been working on
unique methods to purify the cells from patients' blood and
LCH lesions. Their focus is on analyzing the expression of
48,000 genes to identify the most important ones for this
disease. This project has opened an entirely new under-
standing of LCH biology, but it is just the beginning.

Children's Memorial Research Center
The mission of Children's Memorial Research Center is
to generate new knowledge leading to advancements in
the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that
affect children's health through adolescence and adult-
hood. Our multidisciplinary teams of physicians, scientists,
technicians, nurses and trainees are committed to making
discoveries that will improve the lives of children and their
families.

Haley Curls For Hope Foundation
Inspired by Haley Batten and created to help families of
chronically ill children in our area - specifically children
being treated at the Dell Children's Hospital hematology/
oncology ward. We are also here to help increase educa-
tion, knowledge and understanding of Histiocytic disorders.

Make A Wish of Illinois
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois grants wishes to
children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich
their lives with hope, strength and joy. Since 1985, the
